Phuket Diving Safaris welcome you on board M/V Dolphin Queen, our fully equipped diveboat run by our expert, friendly staff. We do a 4 days & 4 nights Dive Safari (11 day dives, 3 night dives, each group 4 divers to 1 dive guide) to the Similan Islands. (For more information about the M/V Dolphin Queen, please visit our boats page). This means you will do all the major dive sites the Similan Marine National Park Islands has to offer and more. After the Similan Islands, we head north to Koh Bon, an island famous for sightings of manta rays. From Koh Bon, we head north west to Koh Tachai, one of Thailand's best dive sites. After a fantastic dive at Koh Tachai we travel to the famous Richelieu Rock, a unique ocean haven for marine life. (Please check our Dive Sites page for more information). Here is the typical Schedule with Phuket Diving Safaris on M/V Dolphin Queen:
A typical day on the M/V Dolphin Queen goes something like this: wake up call at 06.30 am. You get a light breakfast, fresh coffee & some toast. You can also order what you want for your full breakfast after your first dive. First dive at 07.30 am. After your dive you'll can have a breakfast of French toast, boiled eggs, sausages, omelette, fried eggs, pancakes, and ham. We also serve German brown bread, muesli, corn flakes and oats, with lots of fresh fruits always on the table, including water melon, bananas and pineapples. After breakfast you have three hours in between dives to rest and relax. You can go to the beach with our 40hp dinghy, and take a walk on deserted beaches of the Similans; snorkel on the reefs; cool off in your A/C cabin or just relax on the boat with the new friends you have made on this fantastic adventure. Second dive is at 11.30 am, followed by lunch at 1.00 pm. More time for exploring islands or resting on board. Third Dive is at 3.30 pm, followed by snacks and drinks till your night dive. Fourth Dive, the night dive, is at 6.45 pm. The night dive is done so that when you start the dive, you can see the dive site. After 15 mins it's dark. Groups can dive later on request. At 8.00 pm it's time for dinner: time to eat, talk and reflect on the day's amazing marine life we have seen together.
If you want to fully relax, traditional Thai massage is available on board the boat - the ultimate luxury! Next day - do it all over again... |
